The murderer allegedly wrote a 180-page "manifesto" filled with hateful rants about race and ties to the "Great Replacement." Here's what you need to know about this particular conspiracy theory.
What is the "Great Replacement"?
In short, the "Great Replacement" is a conspiracy theory that states that non-white individuals are being brought into the United States and other Western countries to "replace" white voters to achieve a political agenda. It is often touted by anti-immigration groups, white supremacists and others, including Tucker Carlson of FOX News, and other Republican conspiracy enablers. The proposal by the Republican-lead Supreme Court, to eliminate Roe v Wade, uses a veiled reference of "Replacement Theory" to stop the legal and safe practice of abortion, while Republican controlled states are also poised to make any legal and safe form of birth control or contraception nearly impossible, if not outright illegal. Royal Grand Duchy Daviterra vehemently deplores and condemns this blood-thirsty act by one gunman, who is supported by an equally-bloodthirsty Republican party. This must not stand.
