      COVID-19 Precautions & Regulations
Effective February 2, 2021, all visitors over the age of 2 are required to comply with a mask requirement issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the January 20, 2021 Presidential Executive Order. Face masks must be worn over a visitor's nose and mouth at all times while entering and utilizing Daviterra's public areas (including outdoor facilities). Masks with exhaust valves and loose-fitting masks that do not fit snugly above the nose and below the chin, such as bandanas, are not permitted. Neck gaiters are only permitted if doubled over to create two layers. More information on the types of masks that the CDC deems acceptable can be found by clicking here. A face shield may be worn as supplement to, but not as a replacement for a mask. Visitors may briefly lower their masks while actively eating or drinking. A limited quantity of masks are available in our museum, but it is recommended that visitors should bring their own CDC-compliant face covering. If you may be exempt because you have a disability that prevents you from safely wearing a mask, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 USC 12101 et. seq) you must contact us at least 72 hours before you plan to visit or stay overnight, and bring documentation confirming a negative COVID test (within 72 hours). In addition, all persons entering must adhere to a temperature scan, and may be subject to entry refusal.
