Happy Birthday (?)

Yesterday, July 4, 2022, marked the second year of the "declaration" by Royal Grand Duchy Daviterra, in the establishment of itself as a sovereign micro nation. While, the United States of America marked its 246th. year as a sovereign nation, and its independence from Great Briton. Yet, America's birthday was marred by the murder of at least seven Americans, during a parade in a section of Chicago, committed by yet another white, male, domestic terrorist. As Daviterra Nation continues its pursuit of Joy and Justice, we can find neither, in latest turmoil and heartbreak, that was witnessed and vociferously-felt, in this latest indignant and repulsive act of violence, that continues to plague the Nation of America. There can be little celebration, on such a once honorable day, only remembrance and anguish. We Daviterrans bow our heads in humility and hope.
